Happy Wednesday! I finally got a chance to play along with Kristina's Color Challenge this week. Whew - this was a challenge. I usually use some type of pink in my cards! LOL
Anyway, earlier this week I posted a card where I created a chevron pattern. I loved it and wanted to try it in black & white. I made my patterned paper and then punched it out into circles. The yellow seemed overwhelming in large pieces, so I kept it under control with a small bordering circle. I also used my Scor-Pal to create a grid in the background (actually this was to cover up a crease that was in my paper - shhhhh!) and I really like the result.
Overall, I am pleased with how this turned out - a little different from my usual style - more graphic or something - but definitely fun.
Thanks for dropping by!
