Happy Mother's Day!

Hey y'all! The weather is so nice here today and after we took my mom out to lunch we sat on her back deck and watched her birds fly around from her feeders to their nests. It was nice and relaxing. I hope you all got to spend some quality time with your family today.

I made a card for my mom. Here's how it turned out ... I really love how this one came together. I didn't stamp much, just the sentiment! The flower I cut from a 12x12 sheet that I had and I added it on some brown with foam tape to help make it pop off the background paper. And I used some Copics to color the pearls brown since I didn't think the ivory ones really did the job. She loved it!

Well, its back to working on some things around here. Hope you are all enjoying this Sunday. :-) Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamps: PTI Delightful Dahlia (sentiment)
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa; PTI Chai, Chamomile
Paper: Patterned paper: EK Success; K&Company; SU! Soft Suede; coral card stock (? I think I got this at Archivers at some point)
Accessories: KaiserCraft pearls (colored with Copics); foam tape; wrinkled seam binding
