I kept the layout simple and used some Copics to color it all in. Pretty basic, but I think she enjoyed getting this card in the mail ... which was the whole goal! :-)
I did do a lot of distressing with ink on this one ... and its so pretty in real life. That big honkin pearl is super fun ... so glad I found those at Archiver's last weekend. Although, these will definitely go in a bubble mailer to head to their recipients. 
I kept them nice and simple, but I really love that pink and green color scheme. So pretty (and preppy, too)! :-)
I *really* love this wrinkled seam binding ribbon that I made. It started white and I dyed it this really nice plum color. I can't wait to dye some more of this soon. It's really prettier in real life. I have a few other colors in mind to try dying too. :-) Speaking of dying things ... I also colored the pearls on the butterfly bodies with a Copic marker since I didn't have any brown ones in my stash.

I love the colors in this fabric. So fun! To package everything up, I included a coaster, a few assorted tea bags, and some chocolates in a large glassine bag. And then wrapped a piece of paper around the package followed by some ribbon and a tag. Here's a couple of them ...
I really love that teal paper with the pomegranate ribbon. And here's a closer view of the tags I made. I used the Warm Happiness set for the sentiment and the tea cup and tea bag from Everyday Classics.

It's a 30 x 35" quilt ... a great size for a little one. I used some circus prints from Felicity Miller that I got from Fabritopia for an amazing deal last summer. I added some Michael Miller polka dots, which I wasn't sure about at first, but am so glad that I did. I had *just enough* for these strips and the binding. I think I had like 8" of binding to spare. A close call! Here's a closer view of the focus fabric. 
You can see below that I used the same blue circus fabric on the back. Super fun print. And this was one of my better binding jobs ... the corners turned out great. And fortunately the all-over-stippling was quick to do given my time crunch. :-) 
And even though I was down to the wire, it was worth it since it was a hit and I hear the big brother is trying to claim it as his own! :-) I plan to make some more this summer in various fabrics and color schemes to use up some of my enormous inventory of fabrics and make a little money to buy more fabric! :-)
I started with the super fun argyle stamps from Practicing Creativity. (Who knew I'd be able to use a love-themed stamp set for a baby boy shower card!?) The little rocking horse and sentiment are from Amuse's Baby Wishes set. Such fun little images in that set. 
I was going to use a different fabric, but was then inspired by the iguanas on the actual Bible itself, being an Adventure Bible and all. So I decided to finally use this cutie tootie fabric. The design just kind of happened as I went along, but I was digging it ... especially in real life. I wish had gotten a better photo, but I had to give it away tonight so there wasn't much time. Hopefully the youngin' will love it as he gets older.
I went for a vintage vibe on this one. I started by adhering 3 strips of the seam binding along the edge of the background paper. Then I tied another strip in a bow and jazzed it up with a red button and twine. Its hard to tell in the photo, but there's a hint of glitter in the seam binding ribbon. 
I needed something to fill the space on teh sentiment strip, so I added some punctuation points from the alpha set. I think in hindsight, I'd change the happy to be centered and put a dot on either side. But overall I am happy with how this man card came out.
I really love how these turned out. I think the crinkled seam binding and the lace trim really made them special.

I used more of that Madeline paper from K & Co and the Verve Everlasting Life set again here. That chunky twill tape is from Frost it Pink and was dyed by Melissa Phillips. I love that stuff. It was a bit thicker than I wanted for bow tying on this one, so I just added some pleats with my sewing machine and some ivory ribbon from Offray. The flower has some glitter so its really much prettier in real life!
I started with some cute Basic Grey Lime Rickey paper that I've been hoarding for way too long. These birdies are too cute! The sentiment and little overall stamp is from Amuse's Baby Wishes set. I just cut them out and added them on with foam tape. Super easy and quick to mass produce. Here's a shot of some of the different papers I used from the 6x6 pad. 
These are little ... 3.5 x 5 ... a perfect thank you size. Hope my girlfriend enjoys sending them to thank her sweet gift-givers!
I made three of these really quickly and stamped the Psalm 97:1 verse on the insides of them. Hope the recipients will enjoy getting these in the mail in the next day or so. :-)
