Recycled Paper ...

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great Easter and wonderful weekend. We did here in these parts. Church was awesome and we got to spend some time with the fam, so it was great. Sorry for the lack of posts in the past few days, I am pretty swamped with orders right now, so my posts may be a bit sporadic for the next week or so.

This card is for my PTI swap over at SCS. This round our hostess challenged us to use up some scraps for a "recycled" card in honor of Earth day next week. Well, once I got my scraps organized by color in an accordian file, I decided to take on the challenge so here's my card.
I really like how it turned out. It almost seems cartoonish with that big flower, but I think its cute. Its loosely based on the Fall to Layout #37 with a few minor changes. Hope my fellow swappers like my take on the use of scraps! :-)

Back to the sewing machine!

Supplies Used (all PTI unless noted):
Card stock: Kraft, Lemon Tart, New Leaf, Summer Sunrise, Berry Sorbet
Ink: Berry Sorbet
Stamps: Friends til the End
Accessories: Vintage Cream buttons, hemp twine
Tools/Supplies: Scor-Pal, Scor-Tape, scissors, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders Nesting Flower dies, Scotch foam tape, paper trimmer

That flower is terrific! And I really like the berry stamped on the lemon. That's a great combination! I love just about everything I see made using this set, and your card is no exception!
